Bullish Sentiment Shows a Modest Decline

Bullish sentiment among individual investors showed a modest drop this week as falling stock prices caused some investors to pull in their horns.  According to AAII, the percentage of investors who consider themselves to be bullish dropped from 37.5% to 36.1%.  At the same time, bearish sentiment rose from 33.78% to 36.46%.  This marks the first week since 8/2 that the percentage of bearish investors outnumbered the percentage of bullish investors.
