Best and Worst Performing S&P 600 Small Cap Stocks
Monday, September 24, 2012 at 05:02PM After highlighting the best and worst performing S&P 500 (large cap) and S&P 400 (mid cap) stocks so far this quarter, the tables below highlight the best and worst performing S&P 600 Small Cap stocks in Q3.
Consumer Discretionary stocks make up the bulk of the list of this quarter's winners with ten names and are led by Christopher & Banks (CBK) and Zale (ZLC), both of which have more than doubled during the quarter.

This quarter's worst performing S&P 600 stock has been Questcor (QCOR), which is down more than 60% with most of the declines coming in the last week. While Consumer Discretionary sector stocks make up the bulk of the list of best performers, they also make up a big chunk of the list of worst performers with seven stocks, including Coinstar (CSTR) which is down 32.1%.
