61 Days Without a 1%+ Decline

Almost three months have passed since the Dow Jones Industrial Average had its last 1%+ decline.  The last 1% decline for the Dow came on June 25th with a fall of -1.09%.  At 61 trading days, this is the Dow's longest streak without a 1%+ decline since it went 94 trading days from July 13th through November 24th of 2006.  Since 1980, there have been 11 other periods where the Dow went 60 trading days or more without a 1%+ decline, with the longest streak occurring in 1993 at 116 days.  You won't hear any bulls complaining about this stat.
