Investors Not Buying In

The S&P 500 is less than 5 points from a new bull market high, but as shown below, there are still more bears than bulls in our weekly market poll.  Over the weekend, 49% of participants said the S&P 500 would be higher one month from now, while 51% said it would be lower.  

The S&P 500 is up 11% since its June 4th correction low, but there have been more bulls than bears in our weekly poll just 4 out of 12 times since then, and the highest bullish reading over this time period has been just 57%.  The proverbial wall of worry is certainly being climbed.
