US Dollar Rallying to Two Year Highs

The US Dollar Index (DXY) is currently benefitting from a flight to safety trade and is currently trading at its highest levels since July 2010.  This rally in the dollar is a double whammy for US multinationals, who are not only being hurt by weaker economies outside the United States, but then what sales they do have outside the US are being further hurt by the less favorable exchange of those sales back into US dollars.
