New Lows Exceed New Highs For The First Time in 2012

While seven stocks in the S&P 500 hit 52-week highs today, eleven stocks traded to new lows.  This marks the first time this year that more stocks traded to new lows than new highs on a single day, and is just one other sign that the market's short-term momentum is stalling out as we head into earnings season.
