Weekly Earnings Wrap-Up
Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 08:40AM Only 24 companies reported earnings last week, and below is a snapshot of how they fared. While three of the four big companies (in yellow) that reported struggled following their reports, the majority actually did well. The average one-day change of the stocks that reported was +2.54%, and 75% of companies beat earnings estimates.
Mattress Firm (MFRM) did the best with a gain of 17.55% following its report, while Titan Machinery (TITN), Supervalu (SVU) and iGate (IGTE) all gained more than 10% as well. Infosys (INFY) had the worst reaction to its report with a decline of 13.42%.
