S&P 500 6-Day Winning Streaks

While the Dow and Nasdaq closed in the red today, the S&P 500 barely eked out a gain to close up for the sixth consecutive trading day.  Below is a list of 6-day winning streaks for the S&P 500 over the last ten years.  Remarkably, the last twelve times the index has had a six-day winning streak (dating back to November 2006), it has closed lower on the following trading day.
