Bullish Sentiment Drops for Second Straight Week
Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 03:58PM While the S&P 500 has been approaching bull market highs, individual investors have apparently been selling into strength. According to the weekly sentiment survey from the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII), bullish sentiment dropped in the latest week from 36.1% down to 33.86%. This is the lowest reading in a month, and it implies that while the market keeps rallying, the 'little guy' is starting to ring the register.
