Bespoke's Interactive Earnings Calendar

Don't look now, but the third quarter earnings season starts next Tuesday with Alcoa's (AA) report after the close.  As shown below, however, earnings season doesn't kick into full gear until mid-October.  Only 33 companies will report next week, while 239 will report from 10/15-10/19 and 732 will report from 10/22-10/26.  The peak earnings day this season doesn't come until November 1st when 359 companies are set to report.  At that point there will be just 5 days left before election day, though, so there won't be nearly as much attention paid to corporate releases as usual.

For those interested in tracking upcoming earnings reports, over at Bespoke Premium, we offer an Interactive Earnings Season Calendar (sample below) that members use religiously.  The calendar is unique in that it not only highlights the expected report dates, time of day and current EPS estimates for all of the companies set to report over the next month, but it also provides historical earnings report data for each stock.  For each stock in the calendar, we show its historical earnings and revenue beat rate, its historical guidance patterns, and finally, how the stock has historically traded in reaction to its reports.

To check out the calendar and see if it's something for you, below is an abbreviated version of last quarter's file.  To access the full calendar for the upcoming earnings season, become a Bespoke Premium member today.
