For those interested, below is a list of the S&P 500 stocks that have done the best since then. As shown, Morgan Stanley (MS) is at the top of the list with a 3-day gain of 14.62%. Gannett (GCI) ranks second at 14.39%, followed by Genworth Financial (14.02%), Textron (13.89%), Allegheny Tech (12.88%), Citigroup (12.65%), Rockwell Automation (12.5%), and Monster Worldwide (12.3%). Some other notables on the list of winners include Dow Chemical (DOW), Sears Holdings (SHLD), Cliffs Natural Resources (CLF), Time Warner (TWX), and VF Corp (VFC).
