Dow Golden Cross Imminent

Sometime in the coming days, the Dow Jones Industrial Average will experience the elusive “golden cross,” which occurs when the 50-day moving average crosses above the 200-day moving average as both moving averages are rising.  While the golden cross is considered a positive technical formation, we looked back at the Dow's prior golden crosses to see just how positive they have been.
