A Year of Highs and Lows for Green Mountain (GMCR)

Since peaking on September 19th, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) has gotten hit as hard as you'll see any stock get hit.  As shown below, the stock is now down 63% since 9/19, and it's down close to 40% today alone!  Even more amazing, however, is that even after this epic fall, the stock is still up 25% year to date, and if it was in the S&P 500 it would be outperforming more than 450 stocks in the index year to date!  It has certainly been a year of highs and lows for Green Mountain and its shareholders, with the lows dominating for now.
