Three Year Highs For Industrial Production and Capacity Utilization

Unlike most economic reports of the last few weeks, today's Industrial Production and Capacity Utilization reports for the month of September were not stronger than expected (IP: inline, CU: weaker).  While they didn't surprise to the upside, however, they did reach important milestones as both hit their highest levels since the Lehman Collapse in September 2008.
