S&P 500 Stocks Farthest Below 50-Day Moving Averages

Below is a list of the S&P 500 stocks currently trading the farthest below their 50-day moving averages.  We also include our trading range charts (as highlighted last week) for each of the stocks on the list.  As shown, Office Depot (ODP) is the farthest below its 50-day at -35.69%.  ODP is followed by APC (-31.34%), SHLD (-28.65%), HOG (-23.15%), and JNS (-23.08%).  It's not hard to see that most of the names on the list are from the Consumer Discretionary sector, which we just pointed out has been the weakest sector during this current swing lower.  Other notables on the list of oversold names include US Steel (X), Ford (F), and Best Buy (BBY).
