Good News for Cleveland

Cleveland received some good news today.  Unfortunately it doesn't have to do with LeBron.  The March release of the S&P/Case-Shiller housing numbers showed that the Cleveland market is up 6.67% over the last year.  As shown in the chart below, this is the biggest year-over-year gain since at least 1992 when the Case-Shiller data begins.  None of the other 19 cities tracked are even close to record year-over-year highs.  Granted, Cleveland's housing market barely budged during the height of the housing boom, but there's still something to be said for a record high, right?
