And You Thought iPad was a Bad Name?
Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 10:48AM Following the unveiling of Apple's iPad earlier this month, one of the biggest complaints regarding the product was its name, which to some conjured up images that one wouldn't want to associate with a consumer electronics gadget.
If you thought the iPad was a bad name, one company is apparently looking to outdo the gadget in both performance and name. Yesterday, German electronics manufacturer Neofonie GmbH announced a tablet computer of their own which they claim has a larger screen than the iPad and also includes USB ports and a built in camera. And the name of this potential iPad killer? The WePad. Who knows? Maybe it also helps to housebreak puppies and kittens.
