Which Dow Stock Is Up The Most So Far In 2010?
Friday, March 5, 2010 at 05:50PM If you didn't guess Boeing (BA), you're likely not alone. However, Boeing (BA) has been the best performing Dow stock in 2010 by a wide margin. BA is up 25.49% year-to-date, while Bank of America (BAC) is well behind in second place with a gain of 10.89%. Home Depot (HD), Travelers (TRV), General Electric (GE), Kraft Foods (KFT), Cisco (CSCO), and Procter & Gamble (PG) are the other names in the Dow up more than 5%. Four Dow stocks are down more than 5% year to date -- Microsoft (MSFT), AT&T (T), Verizon (VZ), and Alcoa (AA). Alcoa is down the most with a decline of 14.14%, while AT&T and Verizon are down 10.85% and 11.77% respectively. These two stocks are a big reason why the Telecom sector as a whole is struggling so much. The Dow itself is up 1.32% year to date, the average Dow stock is up 1.48% year to date, and 18 of the 30 members are currently in the black for the year.

Boeing is up 25% in 2 months after the runup last year? Totally crazy (and manipulated) stock market.
Good thing I sold my AT&T and hung on to my BAC. Wow, Boeing, I knew it would probably make up a come back but then it just dropped off my radar.
