Positive Guidance Holds Steady

The percentage of companies raising guidance versus the percentage of companies lowering guidance this earnings season remains above 6 percentage points.  As shown in the chart below, 10.23% of companies have raised guidance this reporting period, while just 4% have lowered guidance.  This is currently the highest quarterly spread we've seen since at least 2001.
