Netflix (NFLX) Headed to S&P 500?

It was another ho-hum day in the world of Netflix (NFLX) with the stock gaining more than $10 and closing at a new all-time high.  Netflix is now a $9.3 billion stock.  It's not only the biggest company in the S&P Midcap 400 by more than a billion dollars, but it would also be the 270th biggest stock in the S&P 500 if it were in the index.  Count Sandisk (SNDK), Sears (SHLD), Nordstrom (JWN), Harley Davidson (HOG), Whole Foods (WFMI), Tiffany (TIF), Whirlpool (WHR), Hasbro (HAS), and US Steel (X) as just a few of the large cap S&P 500 names that Netflix is bigger than.  If any stock is on the watch list of the vaunted S&P 500 naming committee, it has to be Netflix (NFLX) right?
