The Best Stock of the Last Decade Has a Rough Start to the New One

At the start of the new year, we highlighted the 50 best performing stocks of the 2000s.  At the very top of the list was Medifast (MED), which gained a whopping 16,209% during the decade.  While MED was the best performing stock in the US last decade, it has gotten off to a very poor start this decade.  As shown below, MED is already down 25% in 2010.  Just today the stock was down $4.01 (-14.85%).
