General Electric Market Cap Falls Below $100 Billion

Remember when General Electric and Exxon Mobil were fighting for global dominance as the biggest company in the world?  From about 2002 to 2006, the companies went back and forth as the largest company by market cap before Exxon finally pushed GE off the side of the cliff in 2007.  As shown in the chart below, there is no comparison between the two companies anymore, as XOM is worth $366 billion and GE is worth just $96 billion.  GE has a lot of work to do before it gets back in the hunt as the world's largest company.  For now it needs to worry about getting back into double digits.

Exxon mobile has become largest company in the world rather than GE and exact figure out there in this graph is showing worth against GE company which is incredible...
